On the site, you can easily add information about the goats in individual records. You can also type in free flowing text at the top of the pages to describe the information on your pages. There is no limit to the amount of text that you can put on the pages.
You can update the text at any time. So, if you get a new Herd Sire at an auction and you come home at 2 AM, you can very quickly announce to your visitors that you have ugraded you herd. The freedom to control the information on your site is something that does not appear to be offered in the small farm web design niche, but it is here. Some designers charge $50 an hour to make updates. I imagine that their clients don't often ask for changes because they don't want to be hit with extra bills. With this system, you don't have to worry about additional fees. You can make changes as often as you want, and I can add whatever pages you need.
It really pays off, too. My sites do very well in the search engines. First of all, they are coded very cleanly and use techniques that are favored by the search engines. Secondly, since the sites can be frequently updated, the search engines view them as relevant, fresh content.
Once again, this page is set up to show you the different ways that the animal records can be displayed. This is currently a site-wide offering, but individual pages can also have the view of your choice (I just have to apply the changes). I wll periodically upgrade the admin area with new views and content types, and upgrades are free (and quick).
